Is a Ford Fusion a good car to commute?

Tricia Dossous: Excellent Choice. My Co-Worker commutes over 40 miles daily, has a Fusion and loves it. He is happy with the MPG and has owned it since 2009 with virtually no mechanical issues whatsoever. Based upon his experience, the Fusions reputation and the car itself, I would say it is an excellent choice.

Robt Heemstra: Personally, I would be looking for a more reliable car, something like a Honda Civic or Toyota Corolla or Camry. For overall low operating costs the Prius is hard to beat.

Patricia Bolduc: Without a doubt with an alarm system other then factoryRyu comment is based on perfect factors, if your 300 pounds with three hundred pounds of goods in the car, there is no way your getting 33 or 23 miles per gallon.Any car not properly maintained is not a reliable car, if your not a mechanic, or you do not take your car to the shop monthly, your not a professional.

Willetta Munhall: Yes, it would be fine.If you get one, I would suggest finding ! a 4 cylinder version (Not a V6 with Flex Fuel)The 4 cylinder version gets 33 Highway, 23 city (29 combined). While the V6 gets only 26 Highway, 18 City (23 combined)...Show more

Alexandria Popik: You can research fuel economy by going to www.fueleconomy.gov.If you choose the hybrid model you'll get excellent fuel economy.
