answers1: No it's not really visual art....visual art refers to pieces
of art you can look at, so drawings, paintings, sculptures....what
your friend is talking about is more specific. I don't think there is
an exact term for it, but she means she can't draw without a
reference. I use to be the exact same way but with practice, she'll
learn to draw without references. But references are very good and no
matter how good at drawing you are, it's always good to have them -
especially for realism.
